Windsor finally returned to match action following a 5 month break due to the Covid-19 pandemic with their first pre-season friendly.
Behind closed doors, Mark Cooper started with a side of last seasons squad and a couple of trialists which started strong against a tough Chalvey Sports side.
It took just 2 minutes for Windsor to get an advantage in the match when Ben Mulley struck low across Matteo Giacobbe to open the scoring.
Chalvey battled hard in the first half but never really troubled the Windsor goal with the visitors having the best of the chances.
Mulley, having already given his side the lead, went close with a effort from the edge of the box and then had another effort well saved by Giacobbe.
Billy Montague then went a bt closer when his strike came crashing back off the bar.
Half time saw a number of changes for Windsor where numerous trialists were given the chance to show what they could do.
The best of the second half chances saw two of the trialists test Giacobbe who had to do well to keep the efforts out.
Windsor will be back in action again on Saturday at Arbour Park against Ascot United in another behind closed doors match.
