Windsor kept up the pressure at the top of the Combined Counties Premier Division with a well earned 3-2 win away at Badshot Lea.
The Berkshire side currently have Guildford City looking over their shoulders with only a five point lead.
Windsor started well enough and came close when Yashwa Romeo missed Jake Parsons cross allowing Joe Chandiram to let fly with an effort which was blocked by Michael Blount.
The visitors took a deserved lead when Dave Tilbury's long ball picked out Ryan O'Toole and after he had managed to see off the challenge of Blount he lifted the ball over Chris Foster for the opener.
Romeo came close with a shot across goal followed by Foster saving a Fagan header from Jake Parson's corner.
The Badshot bench were on their feet in the closing moments of the first half claiming a penalty when Tilbury challenged Aaron Agyeman but referee Melinn deemed it fair a waved away the protests.
As the match entered injury time O'Toole doubled Windsor's lead with a cracking effort from the edge of the area which lipped the inside of the post before crossing the line.
A poor start to the second half saw Badshot Lea halve the deficit when Wesley Harrison managed to pick out Marcus Cousins to slam home a relatively easy finish.
Windsor managed to regain their two goal advantage through substitute Robert Lazarczuk when he was quickest to react to Foster completely missing the ball and having steadied himself calmly grabbed his first club goal.
It was a nervous final 15 minutes for Windsor as Badshot Lea were awarded a penalty for hand ball when Harrison launched the ball at Ryan Parsons from close range giving the Windsor left back no chance to get out of the way.
Cousins stepped up and made no mistake in beating Rob Bullivant with the spot kick.
Windsor could have made sure of the points in the final few minutes when Jake Parsons managed to manoeuvre himself through the home defence before seeing his effort saved by Foster.
Badshot were lucky to finish the match with 11 players as Jason Short decided to kick the legs of Dapo Abitogun out from under him but managed to escape with just a caution.
