Windsor Res let a 3-1 lead slip away as they lost to Slough Heating Laurencians 4-3 to make it 4 defeats in 4 games in the league.
Windsor started the game well and dominated early proceedings but could not capitalise.
Windsor were lucky not to be behind early on as keeper Chan Sidhu fumbled the ball which allowed the Laurencians player to tap in but Sidhu's blunder was saved by the linesmans flag for offside, Windsor however grew into the game and after some half chances finally took the lead thanks to a fine strike from 25 yards from Owen Richardson which flew into the bottom corner. Laurencians hit back moments later as a deflected shot from a corner was bundled home to level the scores, but just before half time Windsor retook the lead as good play by Jack Evans sent a 60 yard cross field pass to Nabil Douhi who cut inside his man to shoot low at the near post past the hapless Laurencians keeper. Windsor led 2-1 at Half time.
Windsor came out 2nd half on the front foot and doubled their lead as great link up play by Richardson and Jay Thompson with man of the match Richardson putting over a delightful ball through to Jermaine Payne who finished expertly on the half volley giving the Laurencians keeper no chance. Windsor looked comfortable and then replaced keeper Sidhu with 1st choice keeper Jamal Richmond. The change unsettled the windsor back line and Laurencians pulled a goal back thanks to a free-kick from just outside the box. Laurencians equalised moments later as Riccardo Cannon broke the offside trap to fire past Richmond despite calls for offside the goal was given, with Windsor looking to save a game they deserved to win lost hope in the last few minutes as a howler by the windsor keeper as he dropped an easy catch which allowed the Laurencians striker to fire home as Laurencians grabbing the winner late on to win 4-3.
