Windsor FC came close to causing an upset against high flying Guernsey before going down 5-2.
Windsor struck twice in the opening 2 minutes to send the modest number of visiting supporters in to raptures.
With less than a minute on the clock Dan Hicks burst through to set Ben Harris on his way to send the ball under Chris Tardif.
The lead was doubled only a minute later when Harris picked the ball up on the halfway line and spotted Tardif off his line sending the ball over the keepers head, under the bar and into the net.
Windsor almot added a third via a Robert Lazarczuk free kick but Tardif was able to just claw the ball from under the bar.
Guernsey then got back into the game with three goals abd a sending off in the space of 5 minutes.
Firstly Dave Rihoy managed to get round Rob Bullivant before slotting into the net.
Then, 4 minutes later, a shirt corner from Rihoy found Dominic Hume who curled an effort past Bullivant.
Dan Hicks was then harshly dismissed when he brought down Ross Allen despite Chris Ellis covering and able to make a challenge.
From the resulting free kick Glyn Dyea curled the ball round the wall and into the net.
Guernsey should have gone further ahead when Allen headed Dyea's cross over the bar.
Allen did mange to grab a goal just before the hour when he managed to shake off Ellis before bending his shot in from the corner of the area.
Numerous changes from both sides failed to add to the scoreline until injury time when substitute Matt Loaring burst through to beat Bullivant.
