Windsor FC will be looking to push the Combined Counties Premier Division title all the way following their 7-0 home win against Cove.
Things were made even more interesting with Guildford City losing 3-1 to Egham.
It was a good start for Windsor as they looked to take control early and almost did when Leeyon Phelan went round Luke Edgcombe only for Liam Eagle to clear off the line.
Phelan was then denied by Edgcombe and as Michael Chennells looked certain to put away the rebound Eagle managed to just get the ball clear.
Eagle, who had managed to keep his side in the match, then had his involvement in the match cut short when he got his second yellow of the game when he was judged to have tangled with Chennells earning the home side a penalty.
Chennells stepped up and successfully converted the spot kick to give Windsor the lead.
As the half drew to a close the lead was doubled when George Gould's long ball put Chennells through and round Edgcombe to slot the ball into the net.
Just five minutes after the break and Chennells completed his hat-trick after being put through by Yashwa Romeo to once again beat Edgcombe.
Two minutes later and Chennells made it four when Edgcombe came for and missed Jake Parsons corner allowing the Windsor front man to fire the ball in through a crowd of players.
Jake Parsons then added a fifth when he turned Ross Hogston the box and then shot low under a diving Edgcombe.
Chennells came close to hitting his fifth when he hit the bar followed by substitute Ben Harris having his header turned onto the bar and post by Edgcombe.
Michael Peters came close to pulling a goal back when he got through and beat Rob Bullivant only for Ryan Parsons to head clear off the line.
Andrew Fagan added Windsor's sixth goal when he headed Jake Parsons cross past Edgcombe followed by Parsons setting up Harris to run through and slam the ball home for his first club goal.
