Sendings Off

Windsor overcame their Wiltshire opponents on a typically Misty night at Stag Meadow.

Fielding his strongest side, Mick Woodham showed his intent and regard for the competition. Victor Ocansey returned at centre half partnering Luke Appleton with George Gould sitting in front.

It was however the away side who started better. An early half chance fell to Roper who shot tamely at Hugo Sobte.

Dan Roberts dragged a shot wide before Andy Ingram chased a lost cause, crashing into the opponents keeper.

Windsor had lots of possession but failed to trouble the visitors until a set play delivered by November player of the month Jamie Di Giuseppe was headed in at the back post by George Gould.

Minutes later Andrew Ingram doubled the lead hammering home a front post cross, again delivered by Di Giuseppe.

Ingram forced the ball over the line 90 seconds later, his effort ruled not to have crossed the line by the assistant much to the home Supporters amazement.

He did grab his second though just before the break, an excellent jinking run from Matt Stockill resulted in a tap in for Ingram and Windsor were comfortable at 3-0.

The second half started in similar fashion, Roberts went close before Lazarczuk fired wide. Roberts scored his goal after 57 minutes, his 15th of the season, driving into the box his fierce shot was mid-handled by the keeper who then diverted the effort over the line.

Roberts should have added his second and Windsorís fifth but his low drive was well saved.

Lazarczuk smashed the opposing cross bar and substitute Nunes burst clear before seeing his effort saved.

Windsor were dominant and Roberts ran the back four ragged.

8 or 9 would not have flattered Windsor and the visitors will be pleased keeping the score line respectable.
