Windsor FC's impressive 15 game unbeaten run in the Combined Counties Premier Division came to an end after a 2-1 defeat away at Chessington & Hook Utd..
Windsor hadn't played for 3 weeks and Chessington for 4 as the recent bad weather had wiped out almost all football in the Combined Coumties leagues.
The first half was anything but thrilling with very few chances.
In fact the only real chances of the half went the way of the home side with Rob Sheridan heading over after Rob Bullivant palmed away Tom Dillaway's corner.
There next chance saw them take the lead when Aaron Leacock's effort was parried by Bullivant and Kyle Green tapped in the rebound.
The second half saw a resurgent Windsor and they soon came close to levelling the scores when Yashwa Romeo headed wide from a Ben Porter free kick.
Romeo then teed up Ryan O'Toole but he was denined by a fantastic double block from Teon Haywood.
O'Toole was then denied again but this time by the bar after being set up by Michael Chennells.
Windsor eventually got the goakl they had deserverd when Rob Lazarczuk crossed for Porter and after etting the ball under control shot low past Mark Daniels.
They could have snatched all the points as first Chennells was kept out by Daniels when clean through and Leeyon Phelan could have had a dream debut when he was through but his shot went wayward after hitting a bobble.
With the game into injury time it loked as if both sides would have to settle for a share of the points until Nick White reacted quickest to shoot low past Bullivant when Windsor failing to clear the ball.
