Windsor produce a slick performance on a rain sodden pitch to overcome FA Vase heroes Sutton Common Rovers on Tuesday night.
With the visitors preparation disrupted by traffic problems on the journey from Sutton, Windsor started on the front foot and opened the scoring within five minutes thanks to the industrious Amin Khomsi.
The teams traded half chances, Windsor going close through Barry Dunbar and Adam Kirby before flying wide man Travis Richardson-Hodge burst through the visitors defence on the half hour mark to slot past the SCR keeper.
The defensive pairing of Kirby and Jeffrey???s added stability to Windsor and despite good midfield play from the impressive Khomsi and Daniel Sharp Windsor were unable to add to their goal tally before half time.
It only took five minutes of the second half for Windsor to put the game beyond SCR when Richardson-Hodge scored his second of the game and Windsor???s 3rd. Immediately SCR made a triple substitution in an attempt to rescue something from the match.
Debutant Mike Debrah did add a new dimension to their attacking play but Dennison, Kirby and Jeffreys were equal to anything thrown at them.
Barry Dunbar scored Windsor???s 4th rifling in a shot from 12 yards and past keeper Shaw, with the aid of a deflection to add to his impressive goal tally. Dunbar was immediately replaced by Jack Banks with Windsor in complete control.
Debrah did pull a consolation goal back for SCR but it was too little too late.
