Windsor FC crashed out of the Pemier Cup following a 2-1 defeat at Stag Meadow against Divsion 1 Spelthorne Sports.
Windsor manager Keith Scott decided to rest 5 of his regular starters with one eye on Saturday's trip to Cove.
A less than inspiring 1st half saw Spelthorne go in ahead at the break with the only chance of the half.
Mark Banfry sent Jamie Read tumbling in the area earning the wisitors a penalty which Read converted.
The second half again saw a lack of chances with Windsor coming close when Dave Tilbury's header from Ben Porter's coner was tipped over the bar.
Spelthorne doubled their lead in the final minutes when they managed to clear a Ryan Parsons' free kick allowing Jeddie Atiase to break before setting up Read to hit a low drive past Banfry.
There was still time for Windsor to pull a goal back in injury time when Porter set up Yashwa Romeo for a sublime lob over Mark Pisani.
