Windsor FC continued their slow ascent of the Combined Counties Premier Division with a 2-0 win at Stag Meadow against Colliers Wood Utd.
A double strike from Ryan O'Toole against a spirited Colliers Wood side made it 3 league wins in a row for Windsor.
Both sides could have taken control of the match in the first half as chances came and went.
Yashwa Romeo had an effort blocked on the line by Samuel Mead after he was picked out by Ben Porter.
At the other end Wood had Windsor pinned back and were lucky not to have gone behind.
Firstly Rob Bullivant was equal to Mario Embalo's effort to pull of a fine save closely followed by Ryan Hughes rounding Bullivant before Kyle Anthony heading the cross clear of goal.
A coming together of Dave Tilbury and Embalo on the goal line earned the visitors a penalty but the most surprising thing wasn't the award of a spot kick but no punishment for the Windsor defender.
Ryan Hughes stepped up to take the kick but was unable to get the ball past Bullivant who saved low to his left.
Joe Chandiram, who headed across goal, and Yashwa Romeo, who had two efforts blocked on the line, could have sent Windsor in ahead at the break, but the half was edged by the visitors.
Windsor came out for the second half and got straight down to business with Ben Porter being denied by a good save from Daniel Burnett followed moments later by substitute George Gould hitting the post.
Windsor finally took the lead on 52 minutes when Ryan Parsons long ball into the box was helped on by Romeo allowing Ryan O'Toole to slot past Burnett.
The lead was doubled midway through the half when O'Toole was gifted time and space on the edge of the area before shooting low into the corner to beat Burnett.
O'Toole could have added more before then end with him first being denied by Burnett and then shooting over the bar.
