Sam Gilson has joined the Windsor FC team as Head of Media Relations. Inspired by the values of the Club, she approached the Committee to offer her support. Sam explained, "I have been following with great interest the birth of Windsor FC and have been inspired by its values of community and sustainability. Stag Meadow has such a family feel to it which has also contributed to my passion in wanting to support the Club. There is real sense of hope at the Club as each day seems to bring significant progress from the individuals and fans who are working tirelessly to make a difference in our fledglings weeks and months." Kevin Stott, Founding Director added, "It always fascinates me how the universe conspires to help you. Last Thursday Robert Stevens resigned and then on Friday Sam appeared out of nowhere to replace him as Head of Media Relations! She will undoubtedly significantly enhance our ability in this area as well as being a welcome new addition to The Committee." Sam has extensive PR and Corporate Communications experience having worked for BSkyB as a key member of the team responsible for launching interactive television into the UK. She now works in Henley as Marketing Director for Connor. Sam is also the first woman to join the Windsor F.C. Committee which is consistent with the club's values of inclusivity. Windsor FC's first game is set to take place on Saturday 16th July with a pre-season friendly at Stag Meadow playing Slough Town.
