Wembley Woe For Windsor

Both sides started well but it was the visitors that were soon in front. Ian Bates' corner picked out an unmarked Atkins to head past Rob Bullivant.

Windsor should have levelled the socres midway through the half when Rob Lazarczuk slid the ball through to Michael Chennells where he crossed for Ben Porter. Unfortunaltely for Porter his effort came crashing back of fthe cross bar.

As the half entered the final minutes Shelton made matters worse for Windsor when he arrived unmarked from a long throw to head in Wembley's second.

The second half saw Windsor turn up the pressure and almost grab a goal back when Andrew Fagan got his head to Adam Dicken's free kick only for Amaegbe to save.

Ryan O'Toole then had an effort from the egde of the area save by Amaegbe before Windsor were denied what looked like an obvious penalty.

Ryan Ashe was sent tumbling in the bpx but rather than awarding a spot kick referee Creswick pulled play back to an incident just outside the area and awarded Windsor a free kick.

Windsor did manage to pull a goal back in the final minutes when Wembley failed to clear a Chris Ellis long thrown and after attempts from Fagan and Ashe, Chennells finally turned the ball over the line.
