WINDSOR FC Youth will take a squad of players to compete in what could be the largest tournament outside of the World Cup itself.
The World Youth Cup in Gothenburg, Sweden is a tournament attended by teams from over 80 countries with crowds in excess of 500,000 across the week.
It will be a rest their of the Windsor players' but the club is confident they will do us proud.
The tournament runs from July 15-21 and you can keep track on their progress through the Gothia Cup App or via the live streams online. For more information about the App and live stream visit gothiacup.se/liveandning-av-matcher.
The players representing Windsor will have played at Allied Youth level and, though a few of them will still not be 17-years-old when the tournament gets under way, the club is confident they will have the metal to put in a performance.
Windsor have been fundraising in the build up to the World Youth Cup and would like to thank the following as, without their help, the club would not have been able to make it happen.
