Scotty To Do Midnight Walk
Friday 6th May 2011On Saturday 2nd July Scotty the Stag will be donning his walking shoes and pyjamas in aid of Thames Hospicecare (THc) and he's asking you to join him !!
THc have organised a new and exciting event called the Midnight Walk starting in Alexandra Gardens at midnight.
There are two routes to choose from, a 13 mile route for those daring enough to challenge themselves further and a 7 mile route for those who enjoy a leisurely summer walk (nb. Scotty has opted for the 7 mile walk).
The routes will be well marshalled and as you draw closer to the finishing line at Windsor Boys School, a light and well deserved continental breakfast will be served.
This fun packed walk is open for anyone aged 14 and above. A parent or guardian will need to be with anyone between the ages of 14-16 yrs and the event is open to men and women.
With an entry fee of ??15, upon registration you will receive a free stripy blue night cap to walk in, which you can keep, a medal and a goody bag.
There is also the option to get sponsorship for the walk should you wish. Scotty is saving his 2011 sponsorship drive for the Mascot Grand National, so if you want to support him and THc you need to enter!!
