Windsor Appoint Press Officer
Monday 25th April 2011Windsor Football Club is pleased to announce the appointment of a Press & Communications Officer in Robert Stevens.
Rob, a graduate of Staffordshire University, with degrees at 1st Class Honours in Sports Journalism and Public Affairs will take up the role officially on 1st May 2011.
His experience as a professional freelance journalist with Berkshire Media Group, Racing Post, The Sentinel, GX Global Media, Staffs Live & OMG Radio will go a long way to help promote the fledgling club.
Short term, the team's primary task is to raise the public awareness of the newly formed Windsor F.C. and it's participation in season 2011-12.
To then gradually improve the profile of Windsor F.C. within its surrounds by establishing and maintaining communal links within the town e.g. sports clubs & associations, schools.
The office also aims to keep Supporters up to date with all the latest news via the Football Club match day programme, official website and supporter's club mailing list.
